![]() A big ucapan selamat to Tom for his exciting news - he is in the process of opening up a café and juice bar in Seminyak, Bali! He has been learning Indonesian with VLLC Melbourne for one month, and is motivated by the thought of being able to communicate with the locals in their own language, as it allows him to better connect with them. “I absolutely love Indonesia – the culture, the food, the weather! […] I always come back to Australia feeling healthier and energized. I am always in awe!”

![]() Breeana began learning Indonesian with VLLC earlier this year as she has always had a love for the culture and language! As her children are half Indonesian, she always tries to bring the language into their lives as they grow up! Breeana is really enjoying learning in a more natural way, instead of translating through English. “It’s making things click faster,” she says, adding that she practices whenever she gets the chance – even if it means imagining a conversation! That’s what we like to hear – keep up the good work, Breeana! Hi my name is Bianca. I am learning Chinese at VLLC because I am very interested in Chinese culture. I went to China on exchange a few years ago but because I didn’t speak any Chinese, I couldn’t communicate with my host family. I would like to go back there in the next few years and be able to speak with them. Overall, I am loving learning Chinese at VLLC!. Below is a photo of Bianca and one of our Chinese tutors,
![]() Hello, I'm Dwi and I am originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. I graduated with a bachelor degree in Communication and Media and I worked in the fashion ecommerce industry. It was a really exciting experience, as the job allowed me to travel a lot. I was based in Jakarta, then moved to Singapore. I finally moved to Melbourne to be with my husband and am now enjoying my new adventure. I'm really passionate about learning and teaching, and I feel so lucky to get the opportunity to tutor at VLLC. I believe my past experience will be really helpful for people who want to learn the Indonesian language and for those who want to learn the business or work culture of Indonesia, I can definitely share some tips with you!. I can't wait to see you at VLLC :) |
