I tend to visualise things in a cinematic way so I am loving the VLLC learning product. It’s like being in my own Italian film while doing the on-line lessons. "Vado in Italia." "Quanto tempo rimane in Italia?" "Che cosa ha fatto questo weekend?" Such phrases with the correlating on-line pictures and my own mind pictures have enabled me to travel. So far I have been buying a ticket to catch the train to Rome, on a boat in Capri, and visiting Galleries in Milan.
I have embraced ownership of the learning process and have diarised when I do my weekly on-line lesson, within my work-life-family balance. In my own world, even feeling like I’m channelling Goethe’s "The Italian Journey": (in the German original title: Italienishe Reise) as I hibernate in my study room, fully immersing in the picture-sound associations of my Italian on-line lessons.
