VLLC is offering a series of professional development seminars focused on developing cultural awareness  and managing cultural diversity in the workplace. ​​​

Cultural competence is the ability to interact effectively with people from different cultures.

Learn how cultural diversity impacts your business and how you can minimize the problems and maximize the benefits.

​Cultural awareness training provides an understanding of the different cultural rules and behaviours that exist - how we react to these differences and how we can avoid misunderstandings to improve business and personal success. It is the foundation of successful communication.

During these workshops, you will be provided with practical strategies that you can immediately implement in your workplace.  They are useful for all levels of employees within the workplace.
Duration:  3 hours

About the speaker

Cultural seminar
Joanne Ammerlaan is a Master Practitioner of NLP and has been working at VLLC for the past 33 years working with staff from 12-15 countries.

​She has developed a series of language and culture training courses in conjunction with native speakers. 

Using this experience she now trains and advises in the areas of intercultural learning and management.
In this seminar she will share specific strategies for dealing with different cultural groups in order to aid communication and create a positive working environment.

Culture of Fitness Workshop

"How to create a culture of fitness in the workplace"

VLLC is offering a series of professional development seminars focused on developing cultural awareness  and managing cultural diversity in the workplace. ​​

Creating a culture of fitness means fostering a workplace that encourages and promotes the well-being of your employees. It means implementing ways for employees to be healthier in the workplace and helping them create healthy habits in both their personal and professional lives.

The many beneficial perks include the competitive edge healthy employees will naturally bring to your company. The many cognitive benefits of regular exercise include improved concentration, sharper memory, quicker learning, prolonged mental stamina, enhanced creativity, and stress reduction. About the speaker

VLLC Cultural seminar
​Vasily Grishchenkov has been involved in high-performance athletics at an international level as both an athlete and coach for the past 45 years.  Using this experience he has created his own system of exercise and movement for strength, flexibility, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. 
​
He now works both with athletes and non-athletes to create a culture of health and exercise in their lifestyle. 
In this seminar, he will share his experience and 'secret weapons' which has helped him to maintain his physical and mental ability at the age of 60+.
He will also help the participants to create personalized health and exercise routines to use in their office environment.
