I have always wanted to learn another language and now seems like a good time because I wanted to study at University (which I now am) and thought this would be a good introduction into learning new skills. Mandarin seemed like a good choice as I could foresee it being useful in the future. I am studying a Bachelor of Science at James Cook. I would like to become a Mandarin fluent researcher corresponding with Chinese investors... or maybe a stay at home Dad... Both great options!
