The interests, needs and welfare of the student in learning a language will at all times be of paramount consideration, in terms of his/her individual goals, learning abilities, aptitudes and ongoing progress. Prior learning will be given recognition through an assessment of the student’s competency prior to acceptance into the course. The student will be provided with:
V.L.L.C will continue to strive for excellence in language acquisition by constantly updating knowledge of learning techniques so that the methods, techniques and materials will always be of the highest possible standard. V.L.L.C will maintain high professional and ethical standards in the marketing and delivery of language courses as well as in management practices. The student will be selected primarily on the basis of his/her motivation to learn a language, our policy being that this is a key element required to ensure success. Selection processes will comply with the principles of social justice and equal opportunity legislation. In the event that a student is considered unlikely to achieve the stated course outcomes, the student will not be accepted into the course. V.L.L.C guarantees students that all the above conditions will be honoured. |
