Come to VLLC and learn a new language and culture.
I recently read a lovely article recently by a gentleman named Francois Grosjean Ph.D who speaks about the linguistic kindness of strangers and friends to those of us who are trying to learn a new language. You can read the full article from the link below. This article however, got me thinking about culture and how it is shared. Different communities often enjoy keeping their culture alive through food and social gatherings to ensure that all that they love is shared with others. Cultural tolerance in society improves immensely when one has some understanding of the language and cultural idiosyncrasies involved in each different country. We, at VLLC, love teaching language. We have Tutors and conversationalists who LOVE to share their language and culture. Not only does the sharing of their linguistic culture help them keep their own language alive but they also enjoy watching new students gain an insight into their culture to their mutual gain! It is always inspiring to see how other people come to think the way they do, their reasons for learning another language and how we can help them achieve their goal! Come to VLLC and learn a new language and culture. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/life-bilingual/201902/helping-others-become-bilingual
