Certificate in Vocational Proficiency

This course achieves a vocational proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
It covers a wide range of topics to develop a student's language to an advanced ability and includes a large cultural component.

This course also includes a focus on motivation to achieve success and is of particular value to students wishing to achieve the level of proficiency relevant for business.

Course details
The Certificate in Vocational Proficiency recommended course time is a further 75 - 100 hours after completion of a the Certificate in Intermediate Proficiency, depending on individual progress. This course achieves a vocational proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening and achieves an approximate ISLPR 3 - 3+ in these four skill areas. 

The Certificate in Vocational Proficiency contains the following:   
  • Intermediate Vocational Communication Skills IV
  • Vocational Reading and Writing Communication Skills IV
  • Cultural Awareness Skills IV
  • Intermediate Vocational Conversational Fluency Consolidation IV  

This Course is a combination of online learning with individual tuition, homework tasks and regular chats with Student Coordinator and Tutors.
 
Language choices include Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Indonesian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Russian, Arabic and Thai.

Prerequisites
Successful completion of Certificate in Intermediate Proficiency  course or prior learning equivalent to ISLPR level 2+ in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
